Possessive Adjectives: The "His" "Her" and "Its" Book There are 3 words "his" "her" and "its." They all tell us who things belong to. We say "her" to show that something belongs to a female person or animal. We say "his" to show that something belongs to a male person or animal. We say "its" to show that something belongs to an object or thing. Here's a backpack. We say: "Its zipper is broken." Here is Betty's bassinet. We say: "Her bassinet is pink." Billy also has a bassinet. We say: "His bassinet is blue." Oh no! The car has a flat tire. We say: "Its tire is flat." Grace has a ball. We say: "Her ball is blue." Brent has a ball too. We say: "His ball is red." The bee found a flower. We say: "Its flower smells nice." Wanda has a car. We say: "Her car is purple." Miles also has a car. We say: "His car is green." Gail loves her chair. We say: "Her chair is comfy." Grant just bought a chair. We say: "His chair is brand new." Penny Panda loves bamboo. We say: "Her bamboo is yummy." Panda Pete is eating bamboo. We say: "His bamboo is fresh." Christie Cat just got fed. We say: "Her food is in the white bowl." Kevin Cat is eating his food. We say: "His food is tasty." A tree lost a branch. We say: "Its branch fell off." Thanks for helping figure out if it's his her or its special thing. You've been a great help! her samples

I made this booklet to help my clients learn several possessive adjectives (i.e. his, her, its). Hope you find it helpful.
