Card Deck Fun
Card decks are a fun and engaging way to work on both artic and language skills. We have standard color coded cards, say ‘n play cards and our most recent addition is the traditional playing cards. Card games work on increasing attention, turn taking, good sportsmanship, predicting, flexible thinking, matching, sorting, same but different, vocabulary and much more, plus they keep the kids engaged. The staples of card games are: Go Fish, Old Maid, Crazy Eights, Slap Jack, and UNO. Don’t forget to do the “bridge” when you shuffle the deck!
Jhamil has shared many artic decks she created in the sharing center. Here is a link to her materials.
